In short: PDF Editor works on your iPhone. Your documents, scans and signatures are not uploaded anywhere, we do not collect personal data, and there are no ads, analytics or tracking.

Who we are

Your documents

PDFs you open, edit, sign or create are processed on your iPhone and stored in the app's own folder on the device (also visible in the Files app under On My iPhone ▸ PDF Editor). They are never sent to a server run by us or anyone else. They stay until you delete them, delete all your data in Settings, or remove the app.

Camera

The camera is used only when you choose to scan a paper document. The images become a PDF on your iPhone and are not uploaded.

Text recognition

When you make a scanned page editable, its text is read on your iPhone using Apple's on-device text recognition. The page and its text never leave the device.

Signatures

Signatures and initials you draw are saved only on your iPhone, so you can reuse them. You can delete them in Settings at any time.

Subscriptions and payments

PDF Editor Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment, free trial, renewals and cancellations under its own terms and privacy policy. We never receive your payment details. The app only asks Apple, on your device, whether your subscription is active.

What we do not do

Apple and backups

Like any iPhone app, PDF Editor's files may be included in your iCloud or computer backups, which Apple and you control. Crash reports, if you allow sharing them in iOS settings, are handled by Apple.

Support emails

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write or attach, and use it only to reply. Please don't send documents with personal details unless needed. Ask us at any time to delete your messages.

Deleting your data

Settings ▸ Delete All My Data removes every PDF and saved signature from the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Children

PDF Editor is a general productivity app and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
